Did you know that the term “Pedestrian” includes:

• people in wheelchairs (including motorized wheelchairs)
• and medical scooters

The MEDICAL SCOOTER AWARENESS PROGRAM is targeted towards:

• People who operate medical scooters and the general public 
• Education on the safe operation of medical scooters 
• The rules of the road as they apply to medical scooters
• And how to safely share the roadways
